Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow

The 2nd edition of the PhMuseum Days - International Photography Festival will take place in Bologna from 23 September to 2 October 2022 under the theme Today Is Yesterday's Tomorrow, an opportunity to reflect on the power of actions and the relationship between past, present and future.

The event will be held at the DumBO’s Spazio Bianco in Bologna, Italy, a 1600 square meter post-industrial pavilion that will host exhibitions, presentations, a space dedicated to photographic publishing and an outdoor relaxation area. The program includes 13 individual and 2 group exhibitions, portfolio reviews (24 September) workshops and a rich program of presentations.

The event is organised by PhMuseum, a platform promoting authors and contemporary photography since 2012.

Workshop

In this workshop, the multifaceted artist Salvatore Vitale invites you to experiment with the expressive potential of photography placed in dialogue with different media. In an era characterised by increasingly interconnected digital communication, visual artists need to be confronted on a daily basis with languages and media that constantly influence and shape the production of content and narrative projects. Over the course of 3 days, you will have the opportunity to create a transmedia narrative project involving the use of photography in association with other media such as sound, archive images, social platforms, video, text.
